After several days of teasing, new mom-to-be, singer and actress Beyonce premiered her new video "Countdown" on MTV last night, and it has everything we love in a Beyonce video: lots of dancing, quirky facial expressions and cool fashion.
NEW MUSIC: Beyonce's New Video Countdown Is Here!
"Countdown" differs in that it's full of references that count up the decades, (beginning in the '50s and ending in the '80s) of great fashion and style.
Ann Margaret, Audrey Hepburn, The Supremes, Jennifer Beals and Andy Warhol are all referenced in the video, as are films Funny Face, Fame and Flash Dance. In one sequence, even the eye shadow Bey uses changes with the different backgrounds.
After the break, check out the styles and people who were referenced in "Countdown."
